Padrón

ReadTalkHistoryEdit

Padrón is a Nicaraguan cigar house founded in 1964 by José Orlando Padrón, known for box-pressed Nicaraguan puros and for consistency across decades of production.

The company began after the Cuban revolution displaced the Padrón family, and built its production around Nicaraguan tobacco at a time when the country's leaf was not yet taken seriously.

Factories

Operations centre on Estelí, with the family retaining direct control of blending across generations.

Lines

The 1964 Anniversary Series and the 1926 Serie anchor the catalogue, alongside the long-running Padrón Thousand Series.
