You must be 21 or older
Silloa is for adults aged 21 and over. The gate is enforced on our servers, at signup against your date of birth and for visitors before any content loads. Getting past it by typing a false date does not make an account legitimate, and we remove accounts we find to be under age.
What Silloa is
A journal for your own hours, a shelf for what you own, and a room where people record what they smoked and whether the hour was any good. Silloa does not review cigars. The verdicts you read are the room's, and they stay that way — money never touches verdicts, rankings, or search.
What Silloa does not sell
We do not sell cigars or any tobacco product. Where you see prices, you are looking at retailers who can legally reach you. If you buy, you buy from that retailer, on their checkout, under their licence, and they are the merchant of record. Any dispute about an order, its shipping, its condition or its refund is between you and them — though tell us too, because a shop that treats the room badly does not stay listed.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what your account does
- One person per account, and your username may not impersonate anyone
- You can stop using Silloa whenever you like
What you post
Your sittings, photos, posts and replies stay yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and display them on Silloa at the visibility you chose — nothing more. Set a sitting to private and it is not ours to show.
Do not post:
- Anything unlawful, or anything that harasses or threatens another person
- Someone else's work presented as yours
- Offers to sell or trade tobacco between members. Member-to-member trading is not permitted here — the shipping rules around it are stricter than most people expect, and we will not pretend otherwise
- Anyone's personal information, including your own that you would not shout
We can remove content and close accounts that break these rules. Where it is a judgement call we would rather talk to you first.
Advertising
Sponsored and boosted content is always visibly labelled as such. If you can not tell whether something was paid for, that is our failure — report it.
The boring but necessary part
Silloa is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and the cigar information here — blend facts, prices, availability — can be wrong or out of date. Check anything that matters before you spend money on it.
These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be announced in the app rather than quietly published here.
