- The Dominican-made 1875 takes its name from the year Inocencio Alvarez and Manín García founded the Romeo y Julieta marque in Cuba. Altadis U.S.A. rolls it at Tabacalera de García in La Romana with an Indonesian shade-grown wrapper over Dominican binder and long-filler. The blend is mild to medium and remains one of the best-selling non-Cuban lines in the United States.
- Wrapper: Indonesian shade-grown.
- Binder: Dominican.
- Filler: Dominican.
- From Dominican Republic.
