- Lot 23 is named for the plot Nick Perdomo planted in 2000 on virgin ground beside the family's Estelí factory; the crop was aged, rolled in 2005 and released in 2006. It sells in three wrappers — Ecuadorian Connecticut, Nicaraguan sun grown and Nicaraguan maduro — over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler. Perdomo's own ratings run from mild-to-medium on the Connecticut to medium-full on the maduro.
- Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut (Connecticut); Nicaraguan Sun Grown; Nicaraguan Maduro.
- Binder: Cuban-seed Nicaraguan.
- Filler: Cuban-seed Nicaraguan.
- From Nicaragua.
