- Antaño means "yesteryear," and this line revives the unapologetically strong Nicaraguan puro style Joya de Nicaragua built its name on. Launched at the 2001 RTDA trade show — where it took the strongest-cigar award — it is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco at the company's factory in Estelí, with a Criollo wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The original three vitolas were Robusto Grande, Belicoso, and Gran Consul, and it remains the house's benchmark full-strength cigar.
- Wrapper: Nicaraguan Criollo.
- Binder: Nicaraguan.
- Filler: Nicaraguan.
- From Nicaragua.
