- Pan Caliente — 'hot bread' — is Reinier Lorenzo's everyday HVC, introduced in 2016 as a Nicaraguan puro of two-year-aged Aganorsa tobacco that crosses the border to be rolled at Raices Cubanas in Danli, Honduras. The 109-style rounded cap is the Cuban wink; the price is the point. It stays a medium-bodied daily smoke in a portfolio that mostly reaches darker.
