- CAO built this blend around Bragança, a tobacco grown in the Amazon rainforest, harvested only once every three years and fermented for six months in hand-rolled tubes called carottes; it made up about 40 percent of the original filler alongside Colombian and Dominican leaf. An Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan binder complete it, and the debut at the 2014 IPCPR trade show was a single toro limited to 2,000 boxes, dressed in a coiled tobacco rope instead of a paper band. The low-yield leaf keeps it a recurring small-batch release from STG Estelí, most recently returning in 2026.
