- Ashton Classic is the line Philadelphia retailer Robert Levin launched the brand on in 1985, and everything else in the portfolio grew from it. First made by Henke Kelner's Tabadom, production later moved to the Fuente family in the Dominican Republic, who roll it from Dominican binder and filler aged three to four years under a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Ashton rates it mild, and it is the house's benchmark at that end of the market.
- Wrapper: Connecticut Shade.
- Binder: Dominican.
- Filler: Dominican, aged three to four years.
- From Dominican Republic.
